Influence is now recruiting for Bloom, our graduate programme starting in September 2027. Bloom is designed to accelerate your development as a consultant, colleague and leader. Working alongside some of the industry’s most experienced consultants, you will gain valuable experience, develop your skills and explore our research-based approach to value creation – collective intelligence.

About Bloom

Bloom is a tailor-made two-year career development programme that combines hands-on client work with a comprehensive learning journey.

You work on client projects from the very start, side by side with senior colleagues. In parallel, you take part in experience-based training where you develop the skills required to succeed as a consultant – from analysis and problem solving to communication, facilitation and change management. As a concluding part of the programme, you and your fellow graduates run a client project of your own. With support from experienced colleagues, you take responsibility for the entire journey – from identifying an opportunity to execution and final delivery.

You are encouraged to take initiative, engage in business development discussions and contribute to strategic initiatives. Influence runs Bloom together with our sister companies within Newground – independent, specialised consultancies based in Stockholm with clients all over the world. You are employed by Influence and regularly exchange ideas and experiences with colleagues across the alliance, which gives you a broad and solid foundation in the consulting profession.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is courageous and curious, with strong analytical skills and a genuine interest in understanding organisations and solving complex problems. You are a creative team player who enjoys working closely with colleagues and clients, and you are motivated by creating long-term value – by leaving the client in a better position than when the project began.

We expect you to have:

• A master’s degree or equivalent education

• Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The recruitment process

Applications open on 14th of September and close on 11th of October. We review applications continuously throughout the application period, so don’t wait to apply.

• Online personality and logical reasoning tests

• First interview, including a case

• Recruitment day in Stockholm on 4th of November

• Preference assessment and interview with a partner

Newground began with a simple belief. Experienced consultants should be able to build firms around true specialization, without choosing between focus and scale.

In 2014, four management consultants shaped the ideas for building something different. Drawing on their experience building consultancies, their ambition was to create an environment where the principles of consulting done right could take shape, guided by deep expertise, long-term relationships, and professional pride.

From the outset, the goal was not to build a single firm. The founders believed the strongest companies are built around clear niches and entrepreneurial teams. Instead of consolidating into one organization, they created a structure where specialist firms remain autonomous while benefiting from shared infrastructure, long-term capital, and aligned ownership, with expertise close to decisions and clear accountability across the alliance.
